1 A feeder fund is a collective investment scheme that by way of derogation from Article 73 paragraph 2 letter a invests at least 85 percent of the fund’s assets in units of the same target fund (master fund).
2 The master fund is a Swiss collective investment scheme of the same type as the feeder fund but is not itself a feeder fund and does not hold any units in such a fund.
3 A feeder fund may invest up to 15 percent of its fund assets in liquid assets (Art. 75) or derivative financial instruments (Art. 72). The derivative financial instruments may only be used for hedging purposes.

1 Un fondo feeder è un investimento collettivo di capitale che, in deroga all’articolo 73 capoverso 2 lettera a, investe almeno l’85 per cento del patrimonio del fondo in quote dello stesso fondo strategico (fondo master).
2 Il fondo master è un investimento collettivo di capitale svizzero dello stesso tipo del fondo feeder, non è a sua volta un fondo feeder e non detiene quote di un fondo feeder.
3 Un fondo feeder può investire fino al 15 per cento del suo patrimonio in liquidità (art. 75) o in strumenti finanziari derivati (art. 72). Gli strumenti finanziari derivati possono essere utilizzati esclusivamente a fini di garanzia.
