1 Before taking a sample, the ordering authority shall inform the person concerned about the registration of their DNA profile in the information system, their right to information and the requirements for deletion.
2 Any person has the right to ask the Federal Office whether a DNA profile is registered in the information system under their name.
3 Articles 8 and 9 of the Federal Act of 19 June 199216 on Data Protection govern the right to, and the refusal, restriction or deferral of information.
1 Prima del prelievo dei campioni, l’autorità competente informa la persona implicata della registrazione del profilo del DNA nel sistema d’informazione, del suo diritto all’informazione e delle condizioni di cancellazione.
2 Ognuno ha il diritto di informarsi presso l’Ufficio federale se nel sistema d’informazione è registrato sotto il suo nome un profilo del DNA.
3 Il diritto all’informazione nonché il rifiuto, la limitazione o il differimento della stessa sono disciplinati dagli articoli 8 e 9 della legge federale del 19 giugno 199216 sulla protezione dei dati.
