Art. 3 project leader and sponsor

1 The project leader is responsible for the conduct of the research project in Switzerland and for protection of the participants at the research site.

2 The project leader is also responsible for organising the research project, and in particular for the initiation, management and financing of the project in Switzerland, provided that no other person or institution headquartered or represented in Switzerland takes responsibility for this (sponsor).

Art. 3 Responsabilités de la direction du projet et du promoteur

1 La direction du projet est responsable de la réalisation pratique du projet de recherche en Suisse et de la protection des personnes participant au projet de recherche au lieu de réalisation.

2 Elle est en outre responsable de l’initiative du projet de recherche, notamment du lancement, de la gestion et du financement en Suisse, dans la mesure où aucune autre personne ou institution sise en Suisse n’en assume la responsabilité (promoteur).
