1 If the information gathering measure has been authorised, the Head of the DDPS, after consulting the Head of the FDFA and the Head of the Federal Justice and Police Department (FDJP) shall decide on clearance for the measure to be carried out. Cases of particular importance may be submitted to the Federal Council.
2 The consultation procedure must be conducted in writing.
