Art. 44 Duties of the holder of the authorisation

The holder of the authorisation has a duty:

a.: to examine the recipient regularly and on a long-term basis for pathogenic agents or markers thereof;
b.: on the death of the recipient, to examine the cadaver for any signs of infection;
c.: to record all information and transactions relevant in terms of protecting the health of the population;
d.: to maintain the records in such a way that the data can be traced back to the donor animal, the recipient and the biological samples that were taken;
e.: to retain the records and the biological samples and to make them available to the responsible authorities on request;
f.: should information come to light which could be relevant in terms of protecting the health of the population, to implement all necessary measures without delay and to inform the competent authorities immediately.

Art. 44 Obblighi del titolare dell’autorizzazione

Il titolare dell’autorizzazione è tenuto a:

a.: sottoporre regolarmente e a lungo termine il ricevente a test per rilevare la presenza di agenti patogeni o di loro indicatori;
b.: all’atto del decesso del ricevente, esaminarne il cadavere per constatare se vi sono infezioni;
c.: registrare tutti i dati e le procedure rilevanti per la protezione della salute della popolazione;
d.: tenere le registrazioni in modo da garantire che i dati consentano la rintracciabilità fino all’animale dal quale è stato effettuato il prelievo, al ricevente e ai campioni biologici prelevati;
e.: conservare le registrazioni e i campioni biologici prelevati e, su richiesta, metterli a disposizione delle autorità competenti;
f.: prendere immediatamente tutte le misure necessarie e informare senza indugio le autorità competenti in caso di constatazioni che potrebbero essere importanti per la protezione della salute della popolazione.
