Art. 5 Use of the UID

1 The UID services have the following obligations:

a.
to recognise the UID as an identifier;
b.
record the UID in their data collections;
c.
to use the UID in their exchanges with each other and with the UID entities.

2 The Federal Council designates the UID services that only need to recognise the UID as an identifier.

3 The UID entities may use their UID in exchanges with each other and with a UID service subject to specific legal regulations.

Art. 5 Utilizzo dell’IDI

1 I servizi IDI sono tenuti a:

a.
riconoscere l’IDI quale identificatore;
b.
gestirlo nelle loro raccolte di dati;
c.
utilizzarlo nello scambio di dati tra di loro e con le unità IDI.

2 Il Consiglio federale determina i servizi IDI tenuti a riconoscere l’IDI unicamente quale identificatore.

3 Le unità IDI possono utilizzare il proprio IDI negli scambi tra di loro o con un servizio IDI; rimangono salve disposizioni giuridiche speciali.
