Art. 9 Hearing and representation of the child

1 As far as possible, the court shall hear the parties in person.

2 The court shall hear the child in an appropriate manner or appoint an expert to carry out this hearing unless the age of the child or another valid reason prevents this.

3 The court shall order that the child be represented and designate as a representative a person experienced in welfare and legal matters. This person may file applications and lodge appeals.

Art. 9 Audizione e rappresentanza del minore

1 Il tribunale sente le parti, per quanto possibile, personalmente.

2 Il tribunale sente il minore personalmente in maniera adeguata o ne incarica uno specialista, a meno che l’età del minore o altri motivi gravi vi si oppongano.

3 Il tribunale ordina che il minore sia rappresentato e designa quale curatore una persona sperimentata in questioni assistenziali e giuridiche. Il curatore può proporre conclusioni e interporre rimedi giuridici.
