1 Where computer systems and computer networks located abroad are used to carry out attacks on critical infrastructures in Switzerland, the FIS may intrude into these computer systems and computer networks in order to disrupt, prevent or slow down access to information. The Federal Council shall decide on whether such a measure should be carried out.
2 The FIS may intrude into computer systems and computer networks abroad in order to gather information about events outside Switzerland that is available there or that has been transmitted from there. The Head of the DDPS shall decide after consulting the Head of the FDFA and the Head of the FDJP on whether such a measure should be carried out.
1 Se sistemi e reti informatici ubicati all’estero sono utilizzati per attacchi a infrastrutture critiche in Svizzera, il SIC può infiltrarvisi per perturbare, impedire o rallentare l’accesso alle informazioni. Il Consiglio federale decide in merito all’esecuzione di una simile misura.
2 Il SIC può infiltrarsi in sistemi e reti informatici ubicati all’estero per acquisire informazioni ivi disponibili o trasmesse da tali sistemi e reti riguardanti fatti che avvengono all’estero. Il capo del DDPS decide in merito all’esecuzione di tale misura previa consultazione del capo del DFAE e del capo del DFGP.
