Art. 46 Conditions and calculation of funding

1 Funding may be granted to institutions and organisations if:

a.
the project serves Swiss national interests;
b.
Switzerland’s participation is not possible without federal funding;
c.
the project is run by an institution or organisation that guarantees that the funding will be used efficiently and that the administrative burden will be kept to a minimum.43

2 Funding shall be granted for a maximum of five years. One or more extensions of maximum five years are possible. Prior to each extension, entitlement shall be checked.

Art. 46 Beitragsvoraussetzungen und -bemessungen

1 Beiträge können den Institutionen und Organisationen gewährt werden, wenn:

a.
das Vorhaben von gesamtschweizerischem Interesse ist;
b.
die Beteiligung der Schweiz ohne Finanzhilfen des Bundes nicht möglich ist;
c.
das Vorhaben von einer Institution oder Organisation getragen wird, die Gewähr bietet, dass die Beiträge effizient eingesetzt und der administrative Aufwand gering gehalten wird.43

2 Beiträge werden jeweils für höchstens fünf Jahre gewährt. Eine oder mehrere Verlängerungen der Unterstützung um jeweils höchstens fünf Jahre sind möglich. Vor jeder Verlängerung wird die Berechtigung überprüft.
