Art. 20 Grant and verification procedures; decisions

1 Research centres shall address their funding applications to SERI.

2 Applications must include:

a.
details of the activities and organisation of the centre applying;
b.
a presentation of past and planned activities and the reasons why a government contribution should be made for this;
c.
an overview of the expenses associated with fulfilment of the tasks, the financial situation and the services expected from the Confederation.

3 The EAER shall regulate the details in an ordinance.

4 It shall make decisions on contributions based on available credit.

Art. 20 Gesuchs- und Prüfverfahren; Entscheid

1 Forschungseinrichtungen reichen ihre Gesuche um Beiträge dem SBFI ein.

2 Das Gesuch muss enthalten:

a.
Angaben über Aufgaben und Organisation der gesuchstellenden Einrichtung;
b.
eine Darstellung der gegenwärtigen und der geplanten Tätigkeiten und der Gründe, warum dafür ein Bundesbeitrag geleistet werden soll;
c.
eine Übersicht über die zur Erfüllung der Aufgaben benötigten Aufwendungen, die finanzielle Situation und die vom Bund erwarteten Leistungen.

3 Das WBF regelt das Prüfverfahren in einer Verordnung.

4 Es entscheidet im Rahmen des verfügbaren Kredits über die Beiträge.
