1 Should the SNSF not accept an application to extend an NCCR it shall propose the termination thereof to the EAER.
2 Before the end of a funding period, the EAER shall decide whether the NCCR shall be continued after the end of the funding period. The decision-making process is based mutatis mutandis on the provisions of Article 13 paragraphs 2–7.
3 If circumstances so require, the EAER may also, on behalf of the SNSF, decide that an NCCR shall be terminated during an ongoing funding period.
4 In the case of the termination of an NCCR, the SNSF shall grant completion funding for a maximum of twelve months.
1 Heisst der SNF ein Verlängerungsgesuch für einen NFS nicht gut, so beantragt er dem WBF dessen Abbruch.
2 Das WBF entscheidet vor Ablauf einer Finanzierungsperiode darüber, ob der NFS nach Ablauf der Finanzierungsperiode weitergeführt wird. Das Entscheidverfahren richtet sich sinngemäss nach den Bestimmungen von Artikel 13 Absätze 2–7.
3 Sofern die Umstände es erfordern, kann das WBF auf Antrag des SNF auch entscheiden, dass ein NFS während einer laufenden Finanzierungsperiode abgebrochen wird.
4 Der SNF gewährt im Falle eines Abbruchs eines NFS eine Auslauffinanzierung von höchstens zwölf Monaten.
