Art. 17 Monitoring, reporting and evaluation

1 The SNSF shall ensure monitoring of ongoing NCCRs. It shall put in place an international review panel for the monitoring of each NCCR.19

2 It shall produce a final report for each completed NCCR. This shall include the closing financial statement and a report on the scientific and structural outcomes. This report shall include a final evaluation with regard to the main aims of the NCCR. This shall be based on the corresponding final reports compiled by the NCCR management and the evaluation of the international review panel.

3 After consultation with the SNSF, SERI shall decide whether it shall require that a completed NCCR or a completed NCCR series or NCCR instrument shall be subject to a thorough evaluation of effectiveness with regard to the attainment of goals. Following consultation with the SNSF, it shall decide on the modalities of the subsequent examination, and confer the associated jobs.

Art. 17 Monitoring, Berichterstattung und Evaluation

1 Der SNF sorgt für ein Monitoring der laufenden NFS. Er setzt für das Monitoring jedes NFS ein internationales Begleitkomitee ein.19

2 Er erarbeitet für jeden abgeschlossenen NFS einen Schlussbericht. Dieser erhält den finanziellen Abschluss sowie einen Bericht über die wissenschaftlichen und die strukturellen Ergebnisse. Er nimmt darin eine abschliessende Bewertung hinsichtlich der mit dem NFS verfolgten Hauptziele vor. Dazu stützt er sich auf entsprechende Schlussberichte der NFS-Leitung sowie auf die Beurteilung des internationalen Begleitkomitees.

3 Das SBFI entscheidet nach Rücksprache mit dem SNF, ob ein abgeschlossener NFS oder eine abgeschlossene NFS-Serie oder das Instrument NFS an sich im Auftrag des SBFI einer umfassenden Wirkungsprüfung unter der Leitfrage der Zielerreichung unterzogen wird. Es entscheidet nach Rücksprache mit dem SNF über die Modalitäten einer allfälligen Prüfung und erteilt die entsprechenden Aufträge.
