1 Prima della scadenza del differimento della pubblicazione, l’IPI può ricordare al titolare del diritto iscritto nel registro, o al suo rappresentante, di pagare la tassa per la pubblicazione.27
2 Nel caso in cui per un design bidimensionale (disegno) sia stato chiesto il differimento della pubblicazione giusta l’articolo 26 della LDes e presentato un esemplare del design in luogo e vece della raffigurazione, l’IPI può, prima della scadenza del differimento, ricordare al titolare del diritto iscritto nel registro, o al suo rappresentante, di inviare almeno una raffigurazione del design.28
3 Trattandosi di depositi cumulativi (art. 20 della LDes), dopo la scadenza del differimento della pubblicazione è possibile chiedere che la protezione sia mantenuta soltanto per singoli design.
4 Se la tassa per la pubblicazione non è pagata entro l’ultimo giorno del differimento o se entro i due mesi che precedono la scadenza del differimento non vengono inviate le necessarie raffigurazioni, l’IPI cancella la registrazione.

1 The IPI may remind the right holder entered in the Register, or their representative, to pay the publication fee prior to the expiry of the deferment period.25
2 If the publication of a two-dimensional design has been deferred in accordance with Article 26 of the DesA, and a specimen of the design has been submitted in lieu of a representation, the IPI may issue a reminder to the right holder entered in the Register, or to their representative, to submit at least one representation of the design.26
3 In the case of multiple applications (Art. 20 DesA), protection may, on request, be renewed for individual designs after expiry of the deferment period.
4 If the publication fee is not paid by the last day of the deferment period, or if the required representations are not submitted two months at the latest prior to expiry of the deferment period, the IPI shall cancel the registration.
