1 La dichiarazione di priorità deve essere presentata entro 30 giorni dal deposito del marchio. Se l’IPI richiede un documento di priorità, il depositante deve inoltrarlo entro sei mesi dalla data del deposito. Se il depositante non presenta i documenti necessari il diritto di priorità si estingue.39
2 La dichiarazione di priorità può riferirsi a diversi primi depositi.
3 I documenti di priorità possono parimenti essere presentati in lingua inglese.

1 The declaration of priority must be submitted no later than 30 days after the filing of the trade mark. If the IPI requests a priority document, the applicant must submit it within six months after the filing. If the applicant does not submit the requested documents, the claim to priority shall lapse.38
