1 Celui qui, intentionnellement, aura importé ou pris en dépôt, ou mis en vente ou en circulation des fourrages naturels ou artificiels propres à mettre en danger la santé des animaux sera puni d’une peine privative de liberté de trois ans au plus ou d’une peine pécuniaire. Le jugement de condamnation sera publié.
2 La peine sera l’amende si le délinquant a agi par négligence.
3 Les produits seront confisqués. Ils pourront être rendus inoffensifs ou détruits.
1 Any person who wilfully imports, stores, offers for sale or markets animal feed or animal feedstuffs that constitute a danger to animals shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty. Public notice is given of the conviction.
2 If the person concerned acts through negligence, the penalty is a fine.
3 The products are forfeited. They may be rendered harmless or destroyed.
