Art. 20 Communication de l’échéance de la période de protection

Avant l’échéance de la période de protection, l’IPI peut rappeler la date de l’échéance au titulaire inscrit au registre ou à son mandataire et lui signaler la possibilité de prolonger la protection. L’IPI peut également envoyer des communications à l’étranger.

Art. 20 Notification of expiry of the period of protection

The IPI may remind the right holder entered in the Register, or their representative, about the date of expiry and the possibility of renewal before the expiry of the period of protection. The IPI may also send such notifications abroad.
