1 La Chancellerie fédérale coordonne la traduction et les autres prestations linguistiques de l’administration fédérale; elle tient compte des impératifs de gestion, de la connexité des tâches, de l’équilibre entre les langues et du statut de celles-ci.
2 La Conférence interdépartementale des services linguistiques (CISL) assiste la Chancellerie fédérale dans l’analyse des besoins des services linguistiques, ainsi que dans l’orientation et la coordination des activités.
3 La CISL est un organe consultatif. Elle se compose de représentants des services linguistiques centraux de la Chancellerie fédérale et des services linguistiques des départements. Le service linguistique des Services du Parlement peut y participer.
4 La Chancellerie fédérale dirige la CISL. Elle en ratifie le règlement.
1 The Federal Chancellery shall coordinate translation and other linguistic services in the Federal Administration; in doing so, it shall respect the requirements for manageability, the connection between the various tasks, the balance between the languages and their status.
2 The Conference of Language Services (COLS) shall support the Federal Chancellery in ascertaining the needs of the language services and in guiding and coordinating their activities.
3 The COLS is a consultative body. It comprises representatives of the Central Language Services of the Federal Chancellery and the departmental language services. The Parliamentary Services Language Service may participate in the COLS.
4 The Federal Chancellery oversees the COLS. It approves its regulations.
