1 Le Conseil fédéral dirige l’administration fédérale. Il assure l’organisation rationnelle de celle-ci et veille à la bonne exécution des tâches qui lui sont confiées.
2 L’administration fédérale est divisée en départements, dirigés chacun par un membre du Conseil fédéral.
3 La loi peut confier des tâches de l’administration à des organismes et à des personnes de droit public ou de droit privé qui sont extérieurs à l’administration fédérale.
1 The Federal Council is in charge of the Federal Administration. It ensures that it is organised appropriately and that it fulfils its duties effectively.
2 The Federal Administration is organised into Departments; each Department is headed by a member of the Federal Council.
3 Administrative tasks may by law be delegated to public or private organisations, entities or persons that do not form part of the Federal Administration.
