451 Federal Act of 1 July 1966 on the Protection of Nature and Cultural Heritage (NCHA)

451 Lescha federala dal 1. da fanadur 1966 davart la protecziun da la natira e da la patria (LPNP)

Art. 1

The aim of this Act, subject to the authority of the Confederation under Article 78 paragraphs 2–5 of the Federal Constitution, is:7

a.
to carefully manage and protect heritage landscapes and sites of local character, historical sites, and the country’s natural and cultural monuments, and to promote their preservation and upkeep;
b.
to support the cantons in fulfilling their tasks in the fields of nature protection, cultural heritage protection and monument preservation, and to ensure cooperation with them;
c.
to support the endeavours of organisations active in the fields of nature protection, cultural heritage protection or monument preservation;
d.8
to protect indigenous flora and fauna, their biological diversity and their natural habitats;
dbis.9
to promote the conservation of biological diversity and the sustainable use of its components through the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from genetic resources;
e.10
to promote science and research and the education and training of experts in the fields of nature protection, cultural heritage protection and monument preservation.

Art. 1

En il rom da la cumpetenza da la Confederaziun tenor l’artitgel 78 alineas 2–5 da la Constituziun federala ha questa lescha l’intent:7

a.
da schanegiar e da proteger il maletg genuin da la cuntrada e dals lieus, ils lieus istorics sco er ils monuments natirals e culturals da la Svizra sco er da promover il mantegniment e la tgira da tals;
b.
da sustegnair ils chantuns en l’adempliment da lur incumbensas en il sectur da la protecziun da la natira, da la protecziun da la patria sco er da la tgira da monuments e da garantir la collavuraziun cun tals;
c.
da sustegnair las stentas d’organisaziuns ch’èn activas en il sectur da la protecziun da la natira, da la protecziun da la patria u da la tgira da monuments;
d.8
da proteger la flora e la fauna indigena sco er lur diversitad biologica e lur spazi da viver natiral;
dbis.9
da promover il mantegniment da la diversitad biologica e l’utilisaziun persistenta da sias parts integralas tras la repartiziun equilibrada e gista dals avantatgs che resultan da l’utilisaziun da las resursas geneticas;
e.10
da promover l’instrucziun e la perscrutaziun sco er la scolaziun e la furmaziun supplementara da spezialists en il sectur da la protecziun da la natira, da la protecziun da la patria e da la tgira da monuments.
