Art. 18 Filing fee and class surcharge

1 The applicant must pay the filing fee within the time limit set by the IPI.

2 If the list of goods or services of the filed trade mark includes more than three classes, the applicant must pay a surcharge for each additional class. The IPI shall determine the number of classes subject to a surcharge in accordance with the list of classes under the Nice Agreement.

3 The class surcharge must be paid within the time limit set by the IPI.

Art. 18 Tassa di deposito e soprattassa per ogni classe supplementare

1 Il depositante deve pagare la tassa di deposito entro il termine fissato dall’IPI.

2 Se la lista dei prodotti e dei servizi concernenti il marchio depositato comprende più di tre classi, il depositante deve versare una soprattassa per ogni classe supplementare. L’IPI determina il numero di classi soggette alla soprattassa secondo la suddivisione in classi prevista dall’Accordo di Nizza.

3 Il depositante deve pagare la soprattassa per ogni classe supplementare entro il termine fissato dall’IPI.
