Art. 43a Eco-labelling and environmental management

1 The Federal Council may issue regulations on the introduction of:

a.
a voluntary system for an environmental label («eco-label»);
b.
a voluntary system for the evaluation and improvement of environmental protection in establishments (environmental management and auditing).

2 In so doing, it must take account of international law and internationally recognised technical standards.

Art. 43a Label écologique et management environnemental

1 Le Conseil fédéral peut édicter des prescriptions sur l’introduction:

a.
d’un système volontaire de mise en place d’un label écologique (écolabel);
b.
d’un système volontaire d’évaluation et d’amélioration des résultats de l’entreprise en matière de protection de l’environnement (système de management environnemental et d’audit).

2 Il tient compte du droit international et des normes techniques reconnues au niveau international.
