142.512 Ordonnance du 18 décembre 2013 sur le système central d'information sur les visas et sur le système national d'information sur les visas (Ordonnance VIS, OVIS)
Art. 26 Storing the data in ORBIS
1 The ORBIS data shall be stored for a maximum of five years.
2 This period begins:
- a.
- in the case of the issue of a visa: on the day that the term of validity expires;
- b.
- in the case the extension of a visa: on the day that new term of validity;
- c.
- in the event of the withdrawal of the application or the termination or non-continuation of the verification of an application: on the creation of the application data file in ORBIS;
- d.
- in the event of the denial, cancellation or the revocation of a visa: with the corresponding decision of the visa authority.
Art. 26 Conservation des données dans ORBIS
1 Les données d’ORBIS sont conservées pendant cinq ans au maximum.
2 Ce délai débute:
- a.
- à la date d’expiration du visa, en cas de délivrance d’un visa;
- b.
- à la nouvelle date d’expiration du visa, en cas de prolongation d’un visa;
- c.
- à la date de création du dossier de demande dans ORBIS, en cas de retrait, de clôture ou d’interruption de la demande;
- d.
- à la date de la décision de l’autorité chargée des visas, en cas de refus, d’annulation ou de révocation d’un visa.
