Art. 2 Liability to pay fees

1 A fee must be paid by any person who:

a.
requests a decision in accordance with Article 1 letter a;
b.
uses a service in accordance with Article 1 letter a;
c.
requests supervisory proceedings which do not culminate in a decision or which are abandoned.

2 Federal, cantonal and communal authorities are not required to pay for precious metals control services in the context of legal and administrative assistance.

Art. 2 Gebührenpflicht

1 Eine Gebühr bezahlen muss, wer:

a.
eine Verfügung nach Artikel 1 Buchstabe a veranlasst;
b.
eine Dienstleistung nach Artikel 1 Buchstabe a beansprucht;
c.
ein Aufsichtsverfahren veranlasst, das nicht mit einer Verfügung endet oder das eingestellt wird.

2 Bundes-, Kantons- und Gemeindebehörden müssen für Leistungen der Edelmetallkontrolle im Bereich der Amts- und Rechtshilfe keine Gebühren bezahlen.

7 Fassung gemäss Anhang Ziff. 5 der V vom 31. Aug. 2022, in Kraft seit 1. Jan. 2023 (AS 2022 552).
