Art. 3 Responsibility

1 The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM)7 is responsible for ORBIS.

2 It shall issue processing regulations, which in particular set out the measures required to guarantee data protection and data security.

7 The name of this administrative unit was amended by Art. 16 para. 3 of the Publications O of 17 Nov. 2004 (AS 2004 4937), in force since 1 Jan. 2015. This amendment has been made throughout the text.

Art. 3 Verantwortung

1 Das Staatsekretariat für Migration (SEM)7 trägt die Verantwortung für das ORBIS.

2 Es erlässt ein Bearbeitungsreglement, das namentlich die Massnahmen festlegt, die zur Gewährleistung des Datenschutzes und der Datensicherheit notwendig sind.

7 Die Bezeichnung der Verwaltungseinheit wurde in Anwendung von Art. 16 Abs. 3 der Publikationsverordnung vom 17. Nov. 2004 (AS 2004 4937) auf den 1. Jan. 2015 angepasst. Diese Anpassung wurde im ganzen Text vorgenommen.
