910.18 Ordinance of 22 September 1997 on Organic Farming and the Labelling of Organically Produced Products and Foodstuffs (Organic Farming Ordinance)

Art. 22 Grundsätze

Eingeführte Erzeugnisse dürfen als biologische Erzeugnisse gekennzeichnet werden, wenn:

a.149
sie nach Regeln produziert und aufbereitet worden sind, die jenen der Kapitel 2, 2a und 3 gleichwertig sind;
b.150
die Produktion einem Kontroll- und Zertifizierungsverfahren unterliegt, welches jenem des 5. Kapitels gleichwertig ist oder dem Kontroll- und Zertifizierungsverfahren für Unternehmensgruppen nach den Artikeln 34–36 der Verordnung (EU) 2018/848151 entspricht.

Art. 22 Principles

Imported products may be labelled as organic products if:

a.149
they have been produced and prepared in accordance with rules which are equivalent to those laid down in Chapters 2, 2a and 3;
b.150
their production is subject to an inspection and certification procedure which is equivalent to that laid down in Chapter 5 or corresponds to the inspection and certification procedure for groups of operators under Articles 34–36 of Regulation (EU) 2018/848.151
