1 Zeigt sich vor der Konzessionserteilung, dass die Kosten für die Erbringung der Grundversorgung in einem bestimmten Gebiet trotz effizienter Betriebsführung nicht gedeckt werden können, so hat die Konzessionärin Anspruch auf eine finanzielle Abgeltung.
2 Die Konzessionärin, die eine finanzielle Abgeltung erhält, muss dem BAKOM jährlich alle für die Kostenevaluation und -kontrolle benötigten Informationen, insbesondere die Rechnungslegungs- und Finanzinformationen, geben.
3 Der Bundesrat regelt die Einzelheiten.

1 If it is clear before the granting of the licence that, even with efficient management, it will not be possible to cover the costs of provision of the universal service in a given area, the licensee shall be entitled to financial compensation.
2 Any licensee in receipt of financial compensation must present all the information required for cost evaluation and cost control, in particular the accounting and finance information, to OFCOM each year.
