Art. 1 Zuständigkeit

1 Der Vollzug der Verwaltungsaufgaben, die sich aus dem DesG4 und dieser Verordnung ergeben, ist Sache des Eidgenössischen Instituts für Geistiges Eigentum (IGE)5.

2 Der Vollzug der Artikel 46–49 DesG und der Artikel 37–40 dieser Verordnung ist Sache des Bundesamts für Zoll und Grenzsicherheit BAZG 6.

4 Ausdruck gemäss Ziff. I der V vom 2. Dez. 2016, in Kraft seit 1. Jan. 2017 (AS 2016 4833). Diese Änd. wurde im ganzen Erlass berücksichtigt.

5 Die Bezeichnung der Verwaltungseinheit wurde in Anwendung von Art. 16 Abs. 3 der Publikationsverordnung vom 17. Nov. 2004 (AS 2004 4937) angepasst. Die Anpassung wurde im ganzen Text vorgenommen.

6 Die Bezeichnung der Verwaltungseinheit wurde in Anwendung von Art. 20 Abs. 2 der Publikationsverordnung vom 7. Okt. 2015 (SR 170.512.1) auf den 1. Jan. 2022 angepasst (AS 2021 589). Diese Anpassung wurde im ganzen Text vorgenommen.

Art. 1 Responsibility

1 The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI)4 is responsible for carrying out the administrative duties stipulated in the DesA5 and this Ordinance.

2 The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security FOCBS6 is responsible for enforcing Articles 46–49 DesA and Articles 37–40 of this Ordinance.

4 The name of this administrative unit was amended in application of Art. 16 para. 3 of the Publications Ordinance of 17 Nov. 2004 (AS 2004 4937). This amendment has been made throughout the text.
