195.11 Ordinance of 7 October 2015 on Swiss Persons and Institutions Abroad (Swiss Abroad Ordinance, SAO)
Art. 47 Zuständigkeit
(Art. 39 Abs. 1 und 40 Abs. 1 ASG)
Über Gewährung, Umfang und Beschränkung des konsularischen Schutzes entscheidet:
- a.
- bei natürlichen Personen: das EDA;
- b.
- bei juristischen Personen: das Eidgenössische Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung im Einvernehmen mit dem EDA.
Art. 47 Responsibility
(Art. 39 para. 1 and 40 para. 1 SAA)
Decisions regarding the provision, scope and limitation of consular protection are made by:
- a.
- the FDFA for natural persons;
- b.
- the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research in agreement with the FDFA for legal entities.
