101 Federal Constitution of 18 April 1999 of the Swiss Confederation

Art. 136 Dretgs politics

1 Tut las Svizras e tut ils Svizzers che han accumplì il 18avel onn e che n’èn betg mess sut avugà pervia da malsogna u flaivlezza da spiert, disponan dals dretgs politics en fatgs federals. Tuts han ils medems dretgs e duairs politics.

2 Els pon sa participar a las elecziuns dal Cussegl naziunal ed a las votaziuns federalas e dastgan lantschar e suttascriver iniziativas dal pievel e referendums en fatgs federals.

Art. 136 Political rights

1 All Swiss citizens over the age of eighteen, unless they lack legal capacity due to mental illness or mental incapacity, have political rights in federal matters. All citizens have the same political rights and duties.

2 They may participate in elections to the National Council and in federal popular votes, and launch or sign popular initiatives and requests for referendums in federal matters.
