1 Durante la ritenzione della merce, l’UDSC è abilitato, su domanda, a consegnare o inviare, per esame, campioni della merce al richiedente o a consentirgli di ispezionare la merce ritenuta.
2 Le spese per il prelievo e l’invio dei campioni sono a carico del richiedente.
3 Dopo l’esame, i campioni, sempre che ciò sia opportuno, devono essere restituiti. Se rimangono presso il richiedente, i campioni sottostanno alle disposizioni della legislazione doganale.

1 While the goods are being withheld, the FOCBS is authorised to hand over or deliver to the applicant, on request, samples for examination or to permit the applicant to inspect the goods being withheld.
