Art. 59 Budgets, allocation of federal funding

1 For each multi-year subsidy period, the Federal Assembly shall issue a simple Federal Decree to approve the following:

a.
the expenditure limits for:
1.
the fixed subsidies paid to the Cantons referred to in Article 53,
2.
the subsidies referred to in Article 56 for organising federal professional examinations, advanced federal professional examinations and study programmes at professional education institutions,
3.
the subsidies referred to in Article 56a to persons who complete a preparatory course;
abis.24
the details of subsidy payments to SFUVET under Article 48 paragraph 2;
b.
the guaranteed budget for:
1.
subsidies referred to in Article 54 for projects that seek to develop and improve the quality of the VPET system,
2.
subsidies referred to in Article 55 for specific activities that serve the public interest.

2 As a guideline, the Confederation’s share of education funding should be one quarter of public expenditure on the VPET system under this Act. No more than ten per cent of the Confederation’s share of the costs shall be allocated as a subsidy under Articles 54 and 55 for projects and activities.

Art. 59 Finanziaziun e participaziun da la Confederaziun

1 L’Assamblea federala permetta per ina perioda da contribuziun da plirs onns, mintgamai tras in simpel conclus federal:

a.
il rom da pajaments per:
1.
las contribuziuns pauschalas pajadas als chantuns tenor l’artitgel 53,
2.
las contribuziuns tenor l’artitgel 56 per la realisaziun dals examens professiunals federals e dals examens professiunals federals superiurs sco er per scolaziuns da scolas spezialisadas superiuras,
3.
las contribuziuns tenor l’artitgel 56a ad absolvents da curs preparatorics;
abis.24
la limita per las indemnisaziuns pajadas a la SAFFP tenor l’artitgel 48 alinea 2;
b.
il credit d’impegn per:
1.
las contribuziuns tenor l’artitgel 54 per projects per sviluppar la furmaziun professiunala e per sviluppar la qualitad,
2.
las contribuziuns tenor l’artitgel 55 per prestaziuns spezialas en l’interess public.

2 La participaziun da la Confederaziun als custs correspunda a circa in quart da l’import che vegn pajà dal maun public per la furmaziun professiunala tenor questa lescha. Da sia participaziun als custs paja la Confederaziun maximalmain 10 pertschient sco contribuziun per projects e per prestaziuns tenor ils artitgels 54 e 55.
