Art. 98b Delegation of duties to third parties in the visa procedure

1 The FDFA in consultation with SEM may authorise third parties to carry out the following tasks in relation to the visa procedure:

a.
arrangement of appointments with a view to granting a visa;
b.
receiving documents (visa application form, passport, supporting documents);
c.
charging of fees;
d.
recording of biometrical data for the central visa information system;
e.
returning passports to their holders at the end of the procedure.

2 The FDFA and SEM shall ensure that the third parties to whom duties are delegated comply with the regulations on data protection and security.

3 The Federal Council shall determine the conditions under which third parties may be delegated duties in accordance with paragraph 1.

Art. 98b Transferiment d’incumbensas a terzas persunas en la procedura da visums

1 En enclegientscha cun il SEM po il DFAE autorisar terzas persunas d’ademplir las suandantas incumbensas en il rom da la procedura da visums:

a.
fixar termins en vista a la concessiun d’in visum;
b.
prender en consegna documents (formular per dumandar in visum, passaport, mussaments);
c.
incassar taxas;
d.
registrar las datas biometricas en il rom dal sistem d’infurmaziun central per ils visums;
e.
respedir il passaport al possessur a la fin da la procedura.

2 Il DFAE ed il SEM procuran che las prescripziuns davart la protecziun e la segirezza da las datas vegnian observadas da las terzas persunas incumbensadas.

3 Il Cussegl federal determinescha sut tge cundiziuns che terzas persunas pon vegnir incaricadas cun las incumbensas tenor l’alinea 1.
