Art. 40 Authorisation requirement

1 Cable communications intelligence mandates require authorisation.

2 Before the FIS issues a mandate for cable communications intelligence it shall obtain the authorisation of the Federal Administrative Court and clearance from the Head of the DDPS.

3 The Head of the DDPS shall consult the Head of the FDFA and the Head of the FDJP beforehand.
