Art. 3 Check dams and foreground

(Art. 2 para. 3 ForA)

1 Check dams are structures that hinder the natural flow of water and create a backwater.

2 The immediate foreground of a check dam is the terrain bordering the installation on the airside. It normally covers a 10-metre-wide strip.

Art. 3 Impianti di sbarramento e terreni antistanti

(art. 2 cpv. 3 LFo)

1 Gli impianti di sbarramento sono costruzioni che, impedendo all’acqua di scorrere in via naturale, formano l’accumulamento.

2 Per terreno immediatamente antistante ad un impianto di sbarramento si intende il terreno che confina a valle con l’impianto. Esso comprende in genere una striscia larga 10 metri.
