Art. 13 Information and alerts

1 The cantons shall inform the public of:

a.
the geographical location of establishments and transport routes;
b.
the adjoining areas in accordance with Article 11a paragraph 2.

2 The cantons shall ensure that, in the event of a major accident, the population affected is informed in good time and, if necessary, alerted and advised how to act.

3 They shall also ensure that neighbouring cantons and states are informed in good time and, if necessary, alerted, if major accidents could have significant effects beyond cantonal or national borders.

Art. 13 Informazione e allarme

1 I Cantoni informano il pubblico su:

a.
la posizione geografica delle aziende e delle vie di comunicazione;
b.
i settori contigui di cui all’articolo 11a capoverso 2.

2 I Cantoni provvedono affinché, in caso di incidente rilevante, la popolazione venga informata tempestivamente e, se del caso, allarmata, nonché riceva istruzioni su come comportarsi.

3 Inoltre essi provvedono affinché Cantoni e Stati limitrofi vengano informati tempestivamente e, se del caso, allarmati qualora l’incidente rilevante possa avere effetti seri sul territorio di questi ultimi.
