Art. 21

1 Riparian vegetation (reed and rush beds, alluvial zone vegetation and other natural riparian plant communities) may not be cleared or covered up, or otherwise destroyed.

2 Where conditions permit, the cantons shall ensure that riparian vegetation is established if none is present, or at least that conditions favourable to its development are created.66

Art. 21

1 La vegetazione ripuale (canneti, giuncheti, vegetazioni golenali e biocenosi forestali) non dev’essere dissodata, sotterrata né altrimenti annientata.

2 Nella misura consentita dalle circostanze, i Cantoni provvedono alla messa a dimora di vegetazione ripuale sulle rive che ne sono sprovviste o, per lo meno, alla realizzazione delle condizioni necessarie alla sua crescita.67
