Art. 1066 a. Form and effect

1 Every holder of a bill of exchange is entitled to make copies of it.

2 The copy must be an exact reproduction of the original instrument with endorsements and all other notes and comments appended thereto. It must bear an indication of how far the copy extends.

3 The copy may be endorsed and have a declaration of guarantee added to it in the same manner and with the same effects as the original bill.

Art. 1065 c. Menzione dell’accettazione

1 Chi ha inviato un duplicato per l’accettazione deve indicare sugli altri il nome della persona presso cui esso si trova. Questa è tenuta a consegnarlo al portatore legittimo di un altro duplicato.

2 Se essa si rifiuta, il portatore non può esercitare il regresso che dopo aver fatto constare con protesto:

1.
che il duplicato inviato per l’accettazione non gli è stato consegnato malgrado sua richiesta;
2.
che l’accettazione o il pagamento non ha potuto essere ottenuto su altro duplicato.
