Art. 30b IV. In relation to sex

1 Any person who is firmly convinced that they are not of the sex entered in their respect in the civil register may declare to the civil registrar that they wish to have the entry changed.

2 The person making the declaration may have one or more new first names entered in the civil register.

3 The declaration has no legal effect on family relationships.

4 The consent of the legal representative is required if:

1.
the person making the declaration is under the age of 16;
2.
the person making the declaration is subject to a general deputyship; or
3.
the adult protection authority has so ordered.

Art. 30b IV. In relazione al sesso

1 Chi ha la convinzione intima e costante di non appartenere al sesso iscritto nel registro dello stato civile può dichiarare all’ufficiale dello stato civile di voler modificare tale iscrizione.

2 Il dichiarante può far iscrivere uno o più nuovi prenomi nel registro.

3 La dichiarazione non ha effetti sui rapporti retti dal diritto di famiglia.

4 Occorre il consenso del rappresentante legale se:

1.
il dichiarante non ha ancora compiuto il sedicesimo anno di età;
2.
il dichiarante è sotto curatela generale; o
3.
l’autorità di protezione degli adulti lo ha ordinato.
