Art. 16 Acquisition of competence

1 Training and examinations for the acquisition of competence must comprise the following modules:

a.
for the certificate of competence level 1, the modules specified in Annex 3 Numbers 3.1–3.3;
b.
for the certificate of competence level 2, the modules specified in Annex 3 Numbers 3.1–3.4.

2 The certificate of competences at levels 1 and 2 are obtained by passing an examination.

3 The training and the examination must correspond to the state of the art in science and technology.

4 The FDHA, by means of an Ordinance, shall maintain a list of the certificates of competence at levels 1 and 2 which fulfil the requirements of Annex 3 Number 3.

5 The FOPH shall recognise the equivalence of other training qualifications if the acquired skills and knowledge fulfil these requirements.

Art. 16 Acquisition de la qualification technique

1 Les formations et les examens en vue de l’acquisition de la qualification technique doivent comporter:

a.
pour la validation de compétences, les contenus visés à l’annexe 3, ch. 3.1 à 3.3;
b.
pour l’attestation de compétences, les contenus visés à l’annexe 3, ch. 3.1 à 3.4.

2 L’attestation de compétences et la validation de compétences sont constatées au moyen d’un examen.

3 La formation et l’examen doivent répondre à l’état des connaissances et de la technique.

4 Le DFI tient, dans une ordonnance, une liste des validations et des attestations de compétences qui remplissent les exigences visées à l’annexe 3, ch. 3.

5 L’OFSP reconnaît l’équivalence d’un autre diplôme si les connaissances et capacités acquises répondent à ces exigences.
