Art. 2 Scope of application

¹ This Act applies to:

a.

nuclear goods;

b.

nuclear installations;

c.

radioactive waste:

1.: that is generated in nuclear installations, or
2.: that has been delivered in accordance with Article 27 paragraph 1 of the Radiation Protection Act of 22 March 1991³ (RPA).

² The Federal Council may exclude the following from the scope of application of this Act:

a.: nuclear goods that do not serve the use of nuclear energy;
b.: nuclear installations with low or harmless quantities of nuclear materials or radioactive waste;
c.: nuclear goods and radioactive waste with low levels of radiation.

³ The provisions of the Radiation Protection Act apply insofar as this Act does not stipulate otherwise.

Art. 2 Champ d’application

¹ La présente loi s’applique:

a.

aux articles nucléaires;

b.

aux installations nucléaires;

c.

aux déchets radioactifs:

1.: produits dans des installations nucléaires,
2.: livrés en vertu de l’art. 27, al. 1, de la loi du 22 mars 1991 sur la radioprotection (LRaP) ³.

² Le Conseil fédéral peut exclure du champ d’application de la présente loi:

a.: les articles nucléaires ne servant pas à l’utilisation de l’énergie nucléaire;
b.: les installations nucléaires dans lesquelles les matières nucléaires et les déchets radioactifs se trouvent en faible quantité ou ne présentent pas de danger;
c.: les articles nucléaires et les déchets radioactifs à faible rayonnement.

³ Les dispositions de la LRaP sont applicables à moins que la présente loi n’en dispose autrement.
