1 The Federal Council is authorised to accept the modifications recommended by the Customs Cooperation Council in accordance with Article 16 of the International Convention of 14 June 198315 on a Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System and to amend the General Tariff.
2 It may in accordance with Article 3 paragraph 1 letter c of the aforementioned Convention include tariff lines from the General Tariff in the Working Tariff as statistical lines, provided that this does not lead to any change in the tariff burden.

1 Le Conseil fédéral est autorisé à accepter les amendements recommandés par le Conseil de coopération douanière en vertu de l’art. 16 de la Convention internationale du 14 juin 1983 sur le Système harmonisé de désignation et de codification des marchandises16 et à adapter le tarif général en conséquence.
2 Le Conseil fédéral peut, conformément à l’art. 3, al. 1, let. c, de ladite Convention, désigner des lignes tarifaires du tarif général comme lignes statistiques dans le tarif d’usage, dans la mesure où cela n’entraîne aucune modification de la charge douanière.
