1 If the court suspends the execution of a sentence in full or in part, it shall make the offender subject to a probationary period of from two to five years.
2 The court may order probation assistance and impose conduct orders for the duration of the probationary period.
3 The court shall explain the importance and the consequences of the suspended and partially suspended sentence to the offender.
4 The probationary period begins on notification of the judgment that is enforceable.38

1 Si le juge suspend totalement ou partiellement l’exécution d’une peine, il impartit au condamné un délai d’épreuve de deux à cinq ans.
2 Le juge peut ordonner une assistance de probation et imposer des règles de conduite pour la durée du délai d’épreuve.
3 Le juge explique au condamné la portée et les conséquences du sursis ou du sursis partiel à l’exécution de la peine.
4 Le délai d’épreuve commence à courir à la notification du jugement exécutoire.37
