Art. 8b

If the invention concerns a product that consists of or contains genetic information, the effects of the patent extend to any material in which the product is incorporated and in which the genetic information is contained and performs its function. Article 1a paragraph 1 and 9a paragraph 3 remain reserved.31

Art. 8b

Si l’invention se rapporte à un produit consistant en une information génétique ou contenant une telle information, les effets du brevet s’étendent à toute matière dans laquelle le produit est incorporé et dans laquelle l’information génétique est contenue et exerce sa fonction. Les art. 1a, al. 1, et 9a, al. 3, sont réservés.30
