Art. 993 3. Types

1 A bill of exchange may be made out to the drawer’s own order.

2 It may be drawn on the drawer himself.

3 It may be drawn for the account of a third party.

Art. 990 A. De la capacité de s’obliger

Quiconque est capable de s’obliger par contrat peut s’obliger par lettre de change ou par billet à ordre.
