Art. 245 I. In general

1 Conditions or provisos may be attached to a gift.

2 A gift whose occurrence is made contingent on the donor’s death is subject to the provisions governing testamentary dispositions.

1 La donation peut être grevée de conditions ou de charges.

2 Les donations dont l’exécution est fixée au décès du donateur sont soumises aux règles concernant les dispositions pour cause de mort.
