1 The land register is kept as a record of property rights.
2 It consists of the main register, the plans, property directories, supporting documents and property descriptions appended to the main register, and the journal.
3 The land register may be kept on paper or electronically.661
4 Where the land register is kept electronically, legal effect attaches to such data as are properly stored in the system and legible in letters and figures or displayed on plans by means of the technical capabilities of the devices and equipment used by the land register.662
