Art. 58b Agreements and recommendations relating to integration

1 The integration agreement sets out the objectives, measures and time frame for individually agreed integration support. It also regulates financing.

2 In particular, it may contain objectives for acquiring language skills, for integration at school or at work, for economic integration and for acquiring knowledge of living conditions, the economic system and the legal system in Switzerland.

3 If the competent authorities require the conclusion of an integration agreement, the residence permit shall not be issued or renewed until the agreement has been concluded.

4 The competent authorities may issue recommendations to persons to whom Article 2 paragraphs 2 and 3 and Article 42 apply.

Art. 58b Conventions d’intégration et recommandations en matière d’intégration

1 La convention d’intégration fixe les objectifs, les mesures et les délais convenus avec la personne concernée. Elle règle également les modalités du financement.

2 Elle peut contenir notamment les objectifs concernant l’acquisition de compétences linguistiques et l’intégration scolaire ou professionnelle et économique, ainsi que l’acquisition de connaissances sur les conditions de vie, le système économique et l’ordre juridique suisses.

3 Lorsque les autorités compétentes exigent la conclusion d’une convention d’intégration, l’autorisation de séjour n’est octroyée ou prolongée qu’après la conclusion de la convention.

4 Les autorités compétentes peuvent adresser des recommandations en matière d’intégration aux personnes auxquelles s’appliquent l’art. 2, al. 2 ou 3, ou l’art. 42.
