1 If stamped hallmarks are removed or damaged in the finishing and polishing process, a new hallmark must be obtained from the same Assay Office that applied the original one.
2 If the new pieces to be hallmarked can be proven to correspond to those that were previously stamped, the new hallmark shall be applied without any further testing of the article. If this cannot be proven, the article shall be controlled once again.
3 The provisions of Article 84–120 apply correspondingly.
4 No fee shall be charged for a new hallmark if the article is not controlled.
1 Werden bei der Fertigstellung (finissage) oder beim Polieren von Waren aufgedrückte Stempelzeichen entfernt oder beschädigt, so ist eine neue Stempelung bei demselben Kontrollamt nachzusuchen, das die ursprüngliche Stempelung vorgenommen hat.
2 Ist die Übereinstimmung der neu zu stempelnden Stücke mit den früher gestempelten nachgewiesen, so wird die neue Stempelung ohne nochmalige Prüfung der Ware vorgenommen. Fehlt dieser Nachweis, so ist die Ware erneut zu prüfen.
3 Die Vorschriften in den Artikeln 84–120 finden entsprechende Anwendung.
4 Für die neue Stempelung ohne Prüfung der Ware wird keine Gebühr berechnet.
