Art. 14 Simplified licensing procedure

1 In cases where the hazard potential for people and the environment is low, the FOPH may assess activities subject to mandatory licensing using a simplified procedure. This concerns in particular:

a.
medical applications in the low-dose range (Art. 26 let. a);
b.
the operation of installations with full or partial protection systems.

2 In the simplified procedure, it shall review the application documents submitted solely for completeness and form.

Art. 14 Vereinfachtes Bewilligungsverfahren

1 Das BAG kann bewilligungspflichtige Tätigkeiten, bei denen das Gefährdungspotenzial für Mensch und Umwelt klein ist, im vereinfachten Bewilligungsverfahren beurteilen. Dies betrifft insbesondere:

a.
Anwendungen in der Medizin, die im Niedrigdosisbereich liegen (Art. 26 Bst. a);
b.
den Betrieb von Anlagen mit Voll- oder Teilschutzeinrichtungen.

2 Im vereinfachten Verfahren prüft es die eingereichten Gesuchsunterlagen nur auf Vollständigkeit und Form.
