Art. 20b Purpose and content

1 The federal government operates an information system to support the statutory tasks of the federal government and the cantons relating to animal experiments.

2 The information system contains the following personal data:

a.
data concerning administrative and criminal prosecutions and sanctions;
b.
data concerning authorisations and the monitoring of animal experiments;
c.
data concerning authorisations and the monitoring of laboratory animal housing, breeding and trading facilities;
d.
data concerning notifications of lines and strains that have a significant clinical pathological phenotype;
e.27
data concerning continuing education and training;
f.
data necessary for the publication of animal experiment statistics;
g.
data necessary for user and system administration.

Art. 20b Zweck und Inhalt

1 Der Bund betreibt zur Unterstützung der gesetzlichen Aufgaben von Bund und Kantonen im Bereich der Tierversuche ein Informationssystem.

2 Das Informationssystem enthält die folgenden Personendaten:

a.
Daten zu administrativen und strafrechtlichen Verfolgungen und Sanktionen;
b.
Daten zu Bewilligungen und zur Überwachung von Tierversuchen;
c.
Daten zu Bewilligungen und zur Überwachung von Versuchstierhaltungen, ‑zuchten und -handlungen;
d.
Daten zu Meldungen von belasteten Tierlinien oder -stämmen;
e.27
Daten zur Aus- und Weiterbildung;
f.
Daten, die zur Publikation der Tierversuchsstatistik erforderlich sind;
g.
Daten, die zur Anwender- und Systemverwaltung erforderlich sind.
